New Image Gallery - "On the Town..."

Just a quick update... I've just started a new Image Gallery called On the Town... and I've thrown thirty-some pictures in it. As the description says: "Some pictures from our random adventures Out On the Town." Right now I've got some pictures from Poultry Days, OSU football Saturday(s), Halloween, and St. Patty's Day... but rest assured, many more are on the way. Check out the pics and leave some feedback. Enjoy!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

-- Happy St. Patrick's Day! -- I know that none of you want to be at work on this FINE drinking holiday, and neither do I! The 1st round of the Tourney is kicking off today, its a warm 50-degrees outside, the Green Beer (or Guinness for Irish at heart) is plenty cold! Just take the day off or if you don't have any vacation days left, call in dead... At least quit reading this and get your work done so you can get to the Pub and Go Drink Your Arse Off! Cheers!

Some Great Ways to Burn Some Time...

If you're reading this, then I'm sure you've got some extra time on your hands and you'll probably enjoy some of these grand illusions. This site has all kinds of cool illusions that are sure to soak up hours of your day! Someone at work brought us the Dragon Optical Illusion and we spent half the afternoon with one eye open, walking back & forth, and jumping up & down as the dragon watched our every move. We even constructed our own and he now stands guard over our cubes as passersby double-take and then stare in...

Samsung's new 82-inch HDTV TFT-LCD display...

WOW, I want one... I want one! According to this article at physorg.com, Samsung has released a new 82-inch High-Definition TFT-LCD display. According to the article, this new LCD display is 17" larger than the previously largest display which was developed by Sharp. The display has full HD image quality (1920x1080 pixels), 180-degree viewing angles, and a 20% better color saturation (meaning a better picture) than most other commercial TV's. No word on price yet, but I'm guessing they'll cost more than a few shiny pennies.

Ohio to Require eBayers to Pay $200 License Fee & Post $50k Bond!

Summary from a post on slashdot:MacDork writes "CNNMoney posted a short article this morning about new Ohio regulations set to become effective May 2 this year. If you are in the state and selling on eBay, you will need to pay $200 for a license and post a $50,000 bond or face possible fines and jail time. Getting the license also requires a one-year apprenticeship. When asked to which eBay users this bill applied, the bill's author, Larry Mumper responded with these very specific guidelines.... 'It certainly will not apply to the casual seller on eBay, but might apply to...

Community Server v1.0 Released!

I know I'm a few days late reporting this... but I feel its still worth mentioning. Community Server version 1.0 has been released! You can get the binaries here, and the source is available here. The CS.org forums are already filling up with all kinds of support from the community and the folks at Telligent. I'm still not 100% sold on the whole CS solution... mainly due to some of the licensing terms (my comments here) and uncertain migration tools (which are getting better all the time). I haven't had much of a chance to...
