StevenHarman.net - Now with subTEXT!

Danger!!!Do not adjust your browser... all is well! This is still the same old StevenHarman.net that you all (yes, all 3 of my readers) know and love... but now it's all new!

I finally jumped the dotText ship and moved my site over to subText [jumped ship... get it? Because the subText logo is a submarine]. I'm looking forward to utilizing all of the features that the new platform will bring to my little piece 'o the web.

The most noticeable change to all of you is my fancy new skin - CityNight. This skin was inspired in part by the GlueBlur theme [from Mike], and was designed and built by yours truly. It is built entirely with XHTML and CSS. That's right, no table layouts here kids! Now, on this note, I have the following to say: Despite my best efforts to make this skin as Bulletproof as possible, I fully expect this skin to act weird in certain cases. The skin was coded to web standards, but as we all know certain browsers [cough, cough... Internet Explorer] don't respect said standards and will tend to do odd things with the markup.

So, in the event that you find something looks odd/out-of-place/just-plain-wrong, could you please report it by posting a comment to this post.

Thanks all, and enjoy!

What others are saying.

I just realized that I've never actually tested posting a comment on the site since I moved over to subText the other night.

Well, I suppose there is no time like the present!

Doh! is right.
Thanks for the notice about the broken RSS feed (and incorrect link). Looks like the feed is busted mainly due to the TABLE element I used for the St. Patty's Day Drinking Guide. Might have to figure out a better way to lay that out... any ideas?

@Anon: Could you be more specific about exactly how/why the News section of my skin doesn't display correctly? What browser (and version) are you using? Do you have Javascript enabled?
Thanks.
