subText Reaches 1,000 Downloads - and Counting!

Celebrate!I was just checking out some of the stats for the subText project site over at SourceForge, and I noticed that we hit the 1,000 downloads mark this past weekend. Looks like it happened sometime on Saturday (April 8th, 2006) morning.

A Hearty Thank You

We [the subText Team] don't know who it was that made this historic download, and we don't have the funds to throw a huge party or give away something cool like an iPod... but on behalf of the entire subText Team I'd like to say Thank You. And also, a sincere Thanks goes out to everyone out there who has downloaded subText and is helping to make this the most usable, elegant, and simplistic blog publishing platform around!

subText is an awesome blogging engine. I was a Dasblog user for several years but the traffic to my site was hindering the performance of Dasblog. subText is one speedy application and I like it a lot. Kudos to everyone involved with the ongoing development with subText. It rocks!
