Beer May Help Prevent Cancer...

Beer beats Cancer!

Doctor... who needs to go to the Doc. According to this AP story, you should just grab a few pints of your favorite brew and drink it down to help your body fight off the "Big C" - Prostate Cancer to be exact. And there's even more good news...

researchers say don't rush out to stock the refrigerator because the ingredient is present in such small amounts that a person would have to drink more than 17 beers to benefit.

Sounds like a challenge to me, no?

What others are saying.

HELL YEAH THAT SOUNDS LIKE A CHALLENGE!!!

And, for the morning after the challenge, continue improving your health.

P.S. It would appear that you are having a problem with canned meat product placement...

Awesome! This sounds like a great one-two punch to me. I think I need to get out of the software business and into the medical research field... those guys seem to be having all the fun these days!

As for the issue you've mentioned about the product placement... I assume you are referring to all of the comment spam, yes? Seems like the filters we have built into subText 1.0 aren't quite up to snuff. Hopefully version 1.5.1 (with RDOS) will help.

Perhaps. I had a problem with RDOS when I tried using it. Perhaps I had a configuration problem, but I don't remember.

I really need to get my site upgraded. But, I can add that to the ever-growing list of things I need to do...

Another thing I just noticed; some of your categories are doubled up. Is that intentional?

Vern -

1) I've actually not really tried the RDOS feature yet, but was going to look into it this weekend.

2) Good looking out with the dup Categories! I'm not sure how it happened, but two (2) of my categories seem to have been partially duplicated.

I say partially b/c just the Category Title was duped into a new CategoryID... not the description. I used w.bloggar to make the posts that were in the duplicated categories, so that may have had something to do with it... not real sure. I'll need to do some digging into our implementatino of the MetaWeblogAPI.

Thanks again Vern!

I recall that I had the dupe cats problem intermittently with w.bloggar. I have long since quit using w.bloggar, so I can't test it now.
You should consider switching to PostXING. It's a pretty damn good little program. Plus, it allows for re-editing of previous posts, which is somethign w.bloggar was always sorely lacking.
That Chris Frazier guy is pretty smart.

HaHa... I hear you on that one! I had a non-stop weekend as well - Soccer [followed by beers & pizza] on Friday, all-day Softball [and beer drinking] Tourney on Saturday, laying poolside/BBQ-ing on Sunday, Red, White, and Boom on Monday, and then Italy vs. Germany on Tuesday.

After all of that, I think my prostate [and liver] are probably in the same condition as yours.
