UPDATE: Simone found a bug with the recently refreshed Day Dreamin' skin - basically I forgot to update the User.Skins.config file to use the Prototype and script.aculo.us libraries. I uploaded a fix last night and bumped the skin up to version 1.1.1. Be sure to get the update if you're running Subtext 1.9.5 or greater.

I just uploaded a new version of the Day Dreamin' skin to the SubtextSkins site. You can get it from the Skin Showcase section of the site.

What's New

As Phil mentioned in the official Subtext 1.9.5 release announcement, we added a few goodies for this release - along with a barrage of bug fixes. A couple of these new features require some work on the skin author's part if they wish to take advantage of them. Namely:

• Content Tagging and Tag Cloud - for more details, refer to this post.
• Upgrade to LightBox 2.0 - If you referenced the default LightBox skin in your custom skin, please reference this post by Simone to understand how to update the skin.
• Author CSS Class - The CSS class of author is added to comments left by the owner of a blog (must be logged in when leaving comment for this to work). This allows custom skin authors to highlight comments by authors.

So the new changes for the Day Dreamin' skin are the addition of a few Tag related controls, updates to the Skins.User.Config file to leverage LightBox 2.0, and some new styles and markup changes to make use of the Author CSS Class.

Notes

One important thing to note - This is version 1.1 of the Day Dreamin' skin and it is only confirmed to be compatible with Subtext 1.9.5. If you're still running Subtext 1.9.4 (or possibly earlier) you'll need to use Day Dreamin' 1.0.2. Lucky for you, I've started archiving previous releases of the skin.
